    One message, a list or a group

    Separate endpoints for a single SMS, a bulk list and a saved contact group, so you never loop over thousands of requests.

    Signed webhooks

    Delivery events are pushed to your endpoint and signed with HMAC-SHA256 in the X-TalkNTalk-Signature header.

    Retries built in

    If your server is down, we retry after 1, 5 and 30 minutes, and you can resend any delivery from the webhook logs.

    Campaign status over the API

    Fetch messages, check a campaign's progress and list its messages without opening the dashboard.

    Keys per integration

    Create a separate API key for each system that sends, and revoke one without breaking the others.

    Sandbox first

    Test SMS on a staging device and try WhatsApp in the sandbox before you switch to live keys.

How do I authenticate?+

Send your API key as a Bearer token in the Authorization header, together with your organisation ID in the X-Organisation-Id header.

Can I test before going live?+

Yes. A staging device can be linked to your account for up to 20 free test SMS on request, and the WhatsApp sandbox is available straight away.

How do I get delivery reports?+

Add a webhook endpoint in the dashboard and choose the events you want, such as sms.delivered and sms.undelivered. Each one is posted to your server as JSON.

Is there an API for WhatsApp too?+

Yes. The same API key can send WhatsApp messages and group messages from your linked numbers.
